Last Updated: September 2, 2025
1. Introduction
This Shipping Policy (“Policy”) outlines the terms and conditions for delivering shipping containers purchased through WRNNT, an online store specializing in standard (10’, 20’, 40’, 45’) and modified containers (e.g., homes, offices). WRNNT partners with trusted logistics providers and uses Stripe for secure payment processing to ensure reliable, safe deliveries. By ordering, you agree to this Policy, which supplements our Terms of Service and Payment Terms and Conditions.
We may update this Policy at any time. Changes will be posted here with the revised date, and continued use implies acceptance. Contact us at support@wrnnt.com.
2. Shipping Methods
2.1 Tilt-Bed (Roll-Off) Delivery
- Description: A tilt-bed truck slides standard containers (10’ or 20’) onto the ground.
- Best For:
- Short-distance deliveries (<300 miles).
- Residential, commercial, or construction sites without unloading equipment.
- Firm, level ground.
- Space Requirements:
- 10’ containers: 65’ length, 12’ width, 16’ height clearance.
- 20’ containers: 75’ length, 12’ width, 16’ height clearance.
- Advantages: No on-site equipment needed; suits limited-access sites.
- Considerations: Requires firm ground (gravel, asphalt, concrete); unsuitable for soft surfaces (mud, grass). Clear overhead obstructions (wires, trees).
2.2 Flatbed Delivery
- Description: Containers (40’/45’ or >300 miles) are shipped on a flatbed truck/trailer, requiring a forklift or crane for unloading.
- Best For:
- Long-distance deliveries.
- Industrial or construction sites with equipment.
- Larger containers.
- Space Requirements:
- 40’ containers: 120’ length, 12’ width, 13.5–16’ height clearance.
- 45’ containers: 130’ length, 12’ width, 16’ height clearance.
- Advantages: Cost-effective for long distances or large containers.
- Considerations: Customer must provide unloading equipment (e.g., forklift for 12,000 lbs). Coordinate with driver.
2.3 Specialized Delivery for Modified Containers
- Description: Modified containers (e.g., double doors, roll-up doors) use tilt-bed or flatbed based on design.
- Best For: Custom containers (homes, offices, shops).
- Space Requirements: Varies; aligns with tilt-bed/flatbed needs. Extra clearance for extended features.
- Advantages: Handles unique designs.
- Considerations: Higher costs for specialized handling. Provide detailed site information.
3. Site Preparation
- Surface: Level, firm (gravel, asphalt, concrete) to support truck/container weight (up to 60,000 lbs). Use blocks/ties for elevation (4–6”).
- Space: Ensure clearance per method; remove obstacles (wires, trees).
- Flatbed: Arrange unloading equipment (e.g., forklift, 12,000 lbs capacity).
- Details: At checkout, provide zip code and access constraints (narrow driveways, gates). After ordering, customers must confirm delivery details and submit site photos for processing before shipping. Inaccurate details may cause delays or fees.
4. Delivery Costs
- Flat Rate: WRNNT provides a flat rate shipping cost at checkout based on container size, type (standard or modified), and delivery distance. Final costs are confirmed at checkout.
- Structure: The flat rate includes a base fee and a per-mile surcharge ($1.50–$4/mile). Additional fees may apply for:
- Remote or rural locations.
- Specialized delivery for modified containers.
- Rescheduling due to unprepared sites or inaccessible locations.
- Equipment rental for flatbed deliveries if not provided by the customer.
- Payment: Delivery costs are paid when placing the order on wrnnt.com.
5. Delivery Timeline
- Processing: 3–5 days (standard), 10–15 days (modified).
- Delivery: 7–14 business days (standard), 10–21 days (modified), 3–8 weeks (international).
- Scheduling: Delivery window provided via email/phone; subject to traffic/weather.
- International: Customers handle customs duties, taxes, and local regulations.
6. Permits and Compliance
- Local: Customers secure permits for container placement (check zoning, HOA rules).
- Road: WRNNT handles domestic transport permits; notify us of restrictions (weight limits, low bridges).
- International: Containers are “Cargo Worthy” with CSC plaque; customers verify destination requirements.
7. Cancellations and Issues
- Cancellations: Full refund before dispatch; restocking fee (10–20%) and return costs after.
- Rescheduling: Notify 48 hours prior to avoid fees ($100–$300).
- Issues: Report damage within 24 hours to support@wrnnt.com with photos. WRNNT is not liable for delays (weather, force majeure).
